Christopher G. Stroumpis

Founder & Managing Partner, CPA

Chris brings forth 20+ years of professional experience encompassing Business Advisory, Accounting Services, Strategic Cost Management, and Executive Leadership to companies ranging from Fortune 500 companies to small to medium sized Government Contractors.

He is the firm's founder and Managing Partner responsible for delivering, in collaboration with his staff, a spectrum of services for clients. These include assisting government contractors on compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Service Contract Act (SCA), DCAA compliance and audit liaison, structuring and implementing cost accounting systems, cost/pricing proposal preparation, contract management, merger and acquisition due diligence and full accounting support. Chris excels in offering back office support services such as accounting and financial management to the accounting departments of various companies that prefer outsourcing as a cost-effective alternative to a full-time accounting staff.

Chris started his career with a large regional CPA firm serving as a consulting accounting resource for a variety of clients. His largest client (an LLC formed by several Fortune 500 companies) hired Chris to take a lead accounting role, which enabled Chris to play a key part in implementing two accounting systems (SAP R/3 and Navision Attain). Chris was later recruited to be Assistant Controller of a $350M government contractor with over 2,500 employees, and he was responsible for managing the accounting department, which had a tremendous amount of turnover. Chris was able to improve employee moral and overall processes during his employment. Chris was recruited for another opportunity to be a Senior Manager of another large regional CPA firm focusing on growing the government contractor consulting practice in the Atlanta Market. After almost two years of building the CPA firm practice, Chris decided to step down from his position with the firm and create his own consulting firm to provide similar services at a more affordable price. Since starting his firm in 2008, Chris has served large Fortune 500 companies during the pre and post acquisition process by acting as interim Controller/CFO, been part of multi-million dollar ERP (Deltek CostPoint) implementation and focused on developing long-term back office support services to small to medium size companies that cannot afford to have a full-time CFO on staff.

Chris strives to serve, focusing on creating and adding value. He became involved in consulting because he relished the challenge of trying to improve companies from the standpoint of efficiency and operations. He attributes his success to his ability to follow through, problem solve, and create and maintain long-term relationships with clients by being respectful and prompt.

Chris is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Georgia and Maryland. He received his MBA in 2000 and his Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 1998, both from Berry College. He is affiliated with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

In his spare time, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife Colin and their two sons, Nicholas and Grayson. He spends a lot of this time helping with his sons' various sports teams and practices. Chris also enjoys playing tennis and golf.
